I am a native of Nashville, TN. After high school I enlisted in the US Navy I worked on EA-6B's and deployed aboard the USS Nimitz. After my enlistment I attended Austin Peay State University and graduated with a double Bachelors degree in Marketing and Management. After college I returned to duty in the Navy and earned a coveted seat to train as a Naval Aviator, but my Naval career was cut short due to military over manning. Out of a career and directionless, with only my degree and some awe inspiring memories in hand, I felt destitute. Finding a job was not easy and the months were lean. Finally, one of my old shipmates from my enlisted days recommended I get into the mortgage business. At first, I thought he was crazy. I didn't know anything about mortgages except that I couldn't afford one. He gave me some pointers on what to learn and I reluctantly applied for a loan officer position here in Nashville. To my surprise, I was offered the position. Two months later I was the highest producing loan officer in the branch. I had finally found a new career that I could really roll up my sleeves and sink my teeth into. Five years later and I still love my job! Thanks Quin!
